Residential design
Residential design is a tedious yet interesting process. As the work happens in close co-relation with the client, there are two teams working together. Every residence is unique, every client is different and his home reflects his personality. In first meeting, we make detailed client brief to build upon, nothing is left out as changes at later stage cost money, time and compromise on design.
The design process revolves around incorporating client brief in best possible way to the tiniest detail. The process of concept development, alternative layouts, elevation schemes and materials bring clarity to freeze basic design. After approval from the client, design development and working drawings are done. Then consultants, contractors, vendors are lined up. During construction periodic check is done to ensure quality. It may seem a small home from outside but residential design is tedious detailing.
At PAA we look for new possibilities in every residential design. We have designed barn-houses, duplexes, bungalows, homes with levels, modern contemporary as well as traditional designs. Even though the basic idea of shelter is same, yet the outcomes are varied and at times fascinating. After all…
