Ramee Royal Resort, is a sustainable theme hotel and resort nestled in the hilly landscape of Udaipur. With 120 keys and a focus on local materials, the resort offers a beautiful and architecturally captivating experience.

As you arrive, you’ll be immediately drawn to the play of forms in blue and white, creating a visually striking ambiance. The architecture embraces curves, with circular buildings and fluid forms carved into the mountains. Shadows dance symmetrical patterns, while green lawns separate public areas from private accommodations. A spa with a large pool, seamlessly integrated into the landscape, provides an organic oasis for relaxation.

The architectural design of Ramee Royal Resort Resorts is organic and playful, inviting guests to explore and indulge their curiosity. Curved pathways and inquisitive spaces lead you along a journey of discovery, offering new perspectives and vantage points at every turn. The interiors strike a balance between introspection and appeal, allowing guests to search within themselves while enjoying vistas of the surroundings. The sequence of spaces, with varying heights and sizes, creates a sense of excitement and security, culminating in the grandeur of the triple-height reception block.

The materials used in the construction reflect the local essence, with blue, white, terracotta, and stone walls blending harmoniously with the hilly landscape. Light-filled interiors with soft blue accents create a serene atmosphere. Geometric and fluid forms enclose spaces of different scales and volumes, utilizing locally available materials for both primary and decorative elements. Indian marbles pattern the floors, while rough Nimbahera Stone adorns the exteriors.

The resort is enveloped by landscaped gardens, pathways, and water features, enhancing the overall experience. The six major built areas offer distinct amenities and architectural features:

  1. The Reception Block showcases a circular design with pergolas and punctured porches, creating captivating shadow patterns. The reception area welcomes guests with a fan-shaped space, a customized chandelier, and an origami-inspired ceiling. The restaurant, cafe, bakery, conference areas, and a terrace lounge bar complete the offerings.
  2. The Banquet space follows the circular facade design and features a unique rcc coffer slab structure. Pre-function areas, back-of-house facilities, and a banquet kitchen support the main space.
  3. The Rooms are divided into two wings and offer a sense of rising up with a circular staircase in the central lobby. Traditional jhikki finish coats the walls, and custom-made furniture adds a touch of luxury and sustainability.
  4. The Cottages, the iconic image of the resort, showcase fluid architecture enveloping the main hill, with each cottage offering a unique perspective and entry point.
  5. The Spa and Pool area embrace organic shapes and volumes, emphasizing fluidity and a sense of connection to nature. The healing properties of water are celebrated, and the mosaic pattern of the pool is inspired by reef islands.
  6. The Services areas are designed to be efficient and hidden from guest view, ensuring a seamless and uninterrupted experience.

Ramee Royal Resort Resorts celebrates the best of its location, incorporating local traditions, the beauty of the mountains, and the serenity of the lakes. With something special for everyone, it promises an unforgettable stay that merges sustainable practices with architectural marvels and natural wonders.
